"TLDR: decent. Went for their Christmas brunch. There was a selection of different cuisines including Chinese and Italian, which tasted alright. They also had a range of desserts to choose from. The food in general has a base taste of sweetness. Not to my liking but others might like it. The Christmas decorations were amazing! I loved the moving train surrounding the cakes, that was super cute. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. The restaurant overlooks the bay and you can see the ferry boats docking and sailing off. There are also smaller boats in the distance. Very nice view."

"The welcoming smile and professionalism of Shily at Goji Kitchen, Batam Marriott Harbour Bay truly made our visit memorable. We had a light dine-in dinner on 15 December, and her service was highly commendable from the moment we arrived. What impressed us most was Shily’s thoughtfulness and accommodation when we asked if there was a small round cake available to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, it was not available, but instead, she kindly offered us a complimentary tart, which turned out to be perfect—especially since we had already been eating while shopping at Grand Batam Mall. This warm and thoughtful gesture was unexpected and genuinely appreciated, prompting us to write this positive review. We ordered the Signature Laksa and Soto Banjar, accompanied by refreshing pineapple juice. The laksa was a standout dish, uniquely presented with Shily pouring the laksa soup at the table. It truly lived up to its “signature” name, and every dish was thoroughly enjoyed. Although complimentary crackers were provided, we found the chilli sauce a little too spicy for our taste. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience in a cosy environment with a pleasant view overlooking the ferry dock, making it a perfect stop before catching our ferry home. A heartfelt thank you to Shily for her excellent service and for making our day in Batam extra special. Highly recommended if you are in the vicinity and looking for good food paired with warm hospitality."

"After getting off the ferry, we found this nearby restaurant through Google Maps — turns out it's hidden inside a hotel! The service staff were very friendly and attentive. As for the food, the “Pisang Goreng”a local Batam specialty, were absolutely delicious. The view from the restaurant was beautiful as well. Highly recommended!"

"Service was excellent, staff went out of their way to prepare birthday decorations. Food was pretty good generally, however some of the meat was slightly on the dry side. Price is definitely on the steeper side for Batam standards. Otherwise a great place for an intimate dining experience. Live band was great too."

"Really enjoyed breakfast at Goji during my stay at Marriott Batam. The service and hospitality were top-notch — staff were warm, friendly, and very street smart. They know how to handle busy mornings, help you out before you even ask, and make the whole experience smooth and pleasant. The buffet itself is impressive. There’s a great variety of choices, and what I really loved is that a big part of the menu changes daily. It’s such a nice touch when you’re staying for a few days because you don’t feel like you’re eating the same thing every morning. You still get your usual favourites like eggs, pastries, and fruit, but there’s always something new to try. The food is fresh, well presented, and tastes good too. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, and even when it gets busy, it never feels messy or overcrowded. Plates get cleared quickly, drinks are topped up without you having to ask, and the staff are attentive without being intrusive. Overall, Goji is one of the better hotel breakfast spots I’ve been to — great service, great variety, and thoughtful details that make each morning feel a little different."

"Visited last week with my family in celebration for my husband’s birthday! Service was amazing, with the staff (sorry I forgot to get your name!) being patient, attentive and even engaging my toddler with colouring materials to keep herself occupied. Prices were definitely slightly steeper, however with the service and ambience, it was definitely worth it. My husband truly enjoyed his fried rice dish and the satay! I loved the salmon in my pasta dish and my LO inhaled a decent amount of her bolognese too. We were contemplating to get dessert (for a candle surprise for my husband) but we were too full. However, we were surprised when Goji’s team surprised us with a dessert surprise and singalong! My husband was kinda shy but was thankful for the efforts and kind gesture. With our tummies filled and ready to pay for our meal, we are pleasantly delighted with a photo printout of the birthday surprise! Sending my appreciation and thanks for the whole team! You guys definitely left a good impression with us and we will be back, thank you so much!"

"Pretty decent buffet with a good variety. I really enjoyed the spread and ended up going for 3 rounds. Solid, satisfying breakfast! The scrambled egg station was a little messy. I tried to customise my order, but they didn’t really remember it, so I just got the regular mix. Still tasty though. Loved the views and overall chill vibe. Great way to start the day."
